Hi, I'm Kara!

I am a professional writer, designer, and communicator who is interested in the intersections between rhetoric and social justice. After receiving my BA in Professional & Public Writing and Women’s & Gender Studies and working in nonprofits for over six years, I continue to explore the applications of professional writing for driving positive social change.
Most recently, I served as Office & Communications Manager with the Michigan State University Center for Gender in Global Context, where I was responsible for producing all internal and external communications.
