Hi, I'm Kara!
After working in nonprofits for over six years and receiving my BA in Professional & Public Writing and Women’s & Gender Studies, I'm passionate about using my skills and experience in communications strategy, digital marketing, and professional writing to drive positive social change.
This journey has led me to work for top nonprofit organizations and small businesses, including Michigan State University's Center for Community Engaged Learning, Senior Neighbors, Lansing Rent is Too Damn High, the Michigan Library Association, and more. Most recently, I served as Office & Communications Manager with the Michigan State University Center for Gender in Global Context, where I was responsible for producing all internal and external communications.
